Tires

Hey,
I drive a 99 gt right now with black saleen s style rims 18x10 in the rear 18x9 in the front. On the back right now I have falken 285/35-18. I noticed mickey thompson came out with 345/35-18 drag radials. Im just wondering if these tires will fit on my rims?

345 is REALLY wide. I've heard of several people who run 315's with no problem. Just need a wheel spacer.

i saw one guy run 335 with a spacer. If i know for sure they will even go on my rims. Ill try them lol.

no they will not fit a 18X9 I have a 17x10.5 with a 315 in the rear and I need a spacer but that is on a 03-04 cobra.. On the 99 GT the widest tire for your 18x9 is a 275 or 285... And thanks for fixing your location...

You will need a 10.5" rim to fit that tire. Or they'll look balloned out on 10" rim. Let me know how it goes. Ive got a 275/60/15 mounted on a 6" rim. But thats just for drag. They look a little balloned out. See how it goes though. It wont mess up the tires just to try. At worst you'll just have to get new rims for you drag tires. And keep your streets mounted to your old rims.
