looking at a 05 w/v6, has 5 speed. The clutch engages and releases about 3in. from floor, that normal for the s197"s??

All manuals that I've driven (a lot of them) release right after you push down , and engage about 1/4-1/2 way through the up ward swing.
car has 68,000 on it. very good shape in and out.

pull up on the clutch pedal that may adjust it, if that doesn't work a new quadrant, and firewall adjuster will fix that....

I'm just mulling it over. mine is in fantastic shape, I really like the new body style, and I love the seats in the s197.
If I can swap seats, and still get me head room (I'm 6'2'), I would be 100% happy.
plus, I don't owe much on mine, and it's my 1st stang.
I've swapped seats in other cars I've owned, so it shouldn't be too hard.
has anyone done that on these 2 cars??
Thanks guys!

no, you will have to make a custom bracket. you could also look into aftermarket seats like corbeaus...some of them are extremely comfortable and look great. in the long run it would probably be cheaper than 05+ seats
