Since 1983, Trick Flow Specialties of Akron, Ohio has manufactured performance cylinder heads intake manifolds, camshafts, valvetrain components, throttle bodies, and other bolt-on performance parts for Ford and Chevy. Products are manufactured in-house on CNC equipment by engineers using flowbench visualization software, a coordinate measuring machine, and engine dynamometers to test products for the market.
We asked Al Noe of Trick Flow about the latest releases for this season. Al explained that, "We've taken the best qualities of factory Ford 351 Cleveland heads and added a healthy dose of Trick Flow ingenuity to create Trick Flow PowerPort Cleveland Street/Strip Cylinder Heads. The heads deliver the low and mid-range muscle of the factory 351C 2V heads and the high-rpm rush of the 351C 4V heads."
The PowerPort Cleveland heads feature intake and exhaust ports based on the OE Ford 2V design. Trick Flow's patented "Fast As Cast" runner technology helps bring the 351 Cleveland into the 21st century - all this at an affordable price. In addition, the exhaust ports were raised .100" from the OE two valve location to improve the short turn radius, which dramatically improves exhaust flow.
Out-of-the-box, the heads come fully assembled with lightweight stainless steel 2.080"/1.600" valves, ductile iron valve seats, chromemoly retainers, machined valve locks, Viton valve seals, 7/16" ARP rocker arm studs, and your choice of valve spring packages. Bare cylinder head castings are also available. With minor machining, these heads can also be used on 302/351W based blocks to create a mock Boss 302 or a 351 "Clevor" engine.
