Emilio, I had a very large amount of money invested in TSP and the stock market. I dont want to put down a dollar amount, but I lost 40%. See, I'm not worried. What comes down will go up. Be patient grasshopper

No WS, if you try to time the market your throwing craps. Just leave the money alone and give it a few years to recover. Easy Cowboy fan, be patient.

I lost 30%. We are all in the same boat. See what happens in the next few years. Might have to push my retirement back a few years.

sub you guys hiring? :)

Hiring? Hell no. But funny thing is they are still doing testing.

They already cut down on some positions and we lost several Task Force spots. Officers that's been here for last then 5 years may be facing walking paper or reassignment to other county spots.

When the economy started to turn downward I moved most of my cash back into the G fund. I took a little hit but not anything to cry about. I feel for you guys though, I was almost in the same boat

Everyone, be patient. Unless you plan to retire in the next 5-10 years, the market will come back up. Too late to move your money out, just leave it there. Buy low, sell high....don't sell low to later buy high!

If you've taken a hit, leave it alone, it will come back up. As CWO says, be patient grasshopper......

I've had to liquidate stuff and may have to further more, but those are the times we're facing :-(
