tune?

hey i got a 96 saleen 4.6, its ported and polished with 50lbs injecters and a 75mm throttle body, for some reason the car has started to run very very rich, i have no idea why but i was guessing i need tune but im not sure, maybe there is a way to do it myself, idk haha, if anyone has any advise that could help please let me know. thanks

check fuel regulator or ask some one with a sct tuner to log the car for you to watch injectors/o2 sensor/ rpm spark advance

i thoughts so, thats what it had in it when i bought it, i havent had the money or time to really change them out, ill probably just switch em out and i found a guy to do a tune for me for a good price. i thought they were a little much

ok so its a little more messed up than i thought, i have orange tip injecters,(19 psi) and the guy before me changed the pressure regulater so now there pumping 45 lbs of pressure, idk what he was thinking

If the regulator is adjustable then just turn the pressure down to about 36lbs without vacuum and then hook the vacuum back up and see what happens.

not that i know of, its really wierd, the shop out here told me to get a new fuel pressure regulater,24lbs injecters and a new MAF sensor, then get it tuned. that sound right to you?

If I were you I would put the stock MAF, injectors and fuel pressure regulator back in and see what happens. If you don't have these parts I'm sure someone would sell them cheap.

I agree with him. I have not seen where you car has been modified enough to need anything above stock parts.

ok so i ordered an adjustable feul pressure regulater from steeda, this other shop which i think is a bit better said that should fix the problem. does anyone know know to run wiring/hoses or a feul pressure guage on an a pillar?

The directions are pretty straight forward. Once you start it if you have questions let us know. Get the gauge first. It's not that hard.
