turbo question

i have a t 04 turbo off a powerstroke 7.3 l good condition make offer!

found this ad for a turbo, there is little to no play, spin good and they want 80.00 for it, will this work on a 302 motor, might got to 331. what would i need to make it work on my coupe.

is it worth it? thanks

Anything will work if you want the plumbing nightmare. Might want to find out what the max boost is on that thing and if your motor can spool it all the way up. Should be interesting!

i got it for 80. told it can spool up to 30 pounds, it looks good. will post pics later.

yes you can put it on your motor, but you will have to have all custom piping made... there are some articles on DIY turbo for mustangs just find one where they are using a diesel turbo it is all usually the same. Just need to make sure you have a oil line feeding to the turbo from the oil pan. and then the custom down pipe, exhaust ect.....

80 is a good investment even if you have to get it rebuilt ill be moving to victoria soon ill be more then happy to help out

what kind of boost do you plan to run... are you going to stay with stock internal and stock block or all D.S.S. or C.H.P. parts?? the stock block doesn't like anything over about 12 lb.. and even at 8 lbs of bosst your just running on borrowed time....

not sure, i just couldnt pass it up for the price, it has no shaft play and i also picked up an intercooler for cheap.

its not bad, i just check craigs almost everyday. and there are a few shops that have used stuff.
