Well as everyone knows i have had prblems with Roger Vogt in the past with my Firwall ajust and them refusing to fix it.... In the end, I'm having Xtreme Moder Mustangs install a new firewall ajuster and Spec clutch.... I the process he notice Roger vogt put GEAR OIL in my transmission when they filled it up after install... So now i know why i have been able to hear the gears when driving and Grinding second on cool mornings......So Steve at Xtreme is taking a sample of the oil, taking pictures when draining the oil and is right up a statment......


This is so horrible!!! everytime i take my car somewhere someone messes somthing up.... One more thing, the day my parts arivved at Roger vogts shop... I stoped by to make sure everything was there, On one of the bellhousing hole there was a TAG that said ATF TRANSMISSION FLUID ONLY!!!!!In big bold letters.... All i have to say is DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ROGER VOGTS!!!! I am taking them to small claims court and am going to try to have the Bureau of Automotive Repair pull there license!

Hopfully all ends well.... Steve is getting prices on new Transmission and i will be taking them to court along with my BILL!!

OH my God! So how long is your car going to be down for this time. Is it as simple as change your oil ect? I sure hope you don't have to go back and replace that Trans... I would def look into taking them to small claims court. Well i hope you are happy with extreme Andy. Steve seems to be a pretty straight up guy in my eyes. I sure hope he can get my car ready for the weekend. I took my car out tonight and washed it because i was forced to drive it in rain today. I went down back road to practice launching it... well good news is I think I have a pretty good idea to get it out of hole now. If i dump then mash it will spin about 6 feet then go or I can just come out fast and then mash into it..we will see by numbers Sat which is actually better cant really tell by driving it.. the bad news is after 4 good hard launches it went into safe mode. It seems to run good If I dont jump on it hard with the BBK. but after a few hard launches it srews up again. I may just go back to my stock T.B. till after I actually get a dyno tune, motion delete, and BBk dialed in ect.. I think that will be best. good luck with your car.

I wish thats what it said man but yes its getting a new transmission..... I dont want that tranny in my car anymore.... After it has had gear oil for the last 3 months that thing could crap out anytime, But it could hold up, and never have a problem. We were talking 6 speed but i will see what he charges me for the new trans and warrenty..


The warrenty is the big thing..... Now that the trans has had Gear oil in it the warranty no long exist, So i think they owe me a new tranny with a nice warranty for my troubles.... We will see I might throw more many at it and come out of this on top and fast ass hell.... I was think also going with a TKO 600. ;D ;D ;D

I SAW YOUR TRANNY SITUATION YESTERDAY WHEN I DROPPED OFF MY CAR. THATS WHY I WAS ASKING WHO DID IT. FIRST THEY PUT OIL IN IT NOT ATF, AND THEN THERE WASN'T ENOUGH IN IT TO START WITH. I BELIEVE THERE WAS METAL FLAKES IN THE OIL AS WELL. STEVE WILL HELP YOU WITH THE SMALL CLAIMS THING AS WELL.

STEVE WAS PLANNING ON HAVING IT DONE YESTERDAY TO TIL HE FOUND THAT.

MY CAR IS GONNA BE IN THERE LONGER THAN WE EXPECTED HAVING TO PUT MORE PARTS IN FOR THE CAM. UNLIKE PREVIOUS MODELS YOU CANNOT USE THE STOCK VALVE SPRINGS WITH A NEW CAM. SO PHIL YOU WILL GET TO SEE MY CAR ALL TORN APART NOW,LOL.

LOL @ TJ. Hey I thought you new that TJ. The news cams are expensice plus you have to replace the old stuff. Kinda a pain.. I am going to wait to do the motion things TJ. I have to go back to St.Louis soon. I been going through process of changing my plates of to MO. because of a few tickets I got out here. when I copied my drivers licence ect..i found out that it expires in July LOL. so I am going to go back in May and have my budy tune and add some more goodies to my car. ACTUALLY WHAT IT IS, IS VALVE SPRINGS. ON ALL PREVIOUS MODELS YOU COULD USE THE STOCK VALVE SPRING. THATS NOT A BIG DEAL, ITS THE FACT THAT TO CHANGE THE VALVE SPRINGS IS YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE HEADS. ANOTHER DESIGN FLAW WAS IN THIS PART. THE GASKETS HAVE TO BE REPLACED EVERYTIME (TYPICAL NOT A BIGGIE) BUT FOR SOME DAMN REASON THEY COST $100 FOR OUR CARS, THEN THE DUMBEST THING THEY EVER DID IS THE HEAD BOLTS ON OUR CARS ARE A ONE TIME USE BOLT AND THEY ARE LIKE $200 TO REPLACE. ITS STILL BEING DONE, JUST WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE SPRINGS TO GET HERE NOW AND IT WILL TAKE 3DAYS CAUSE ITS COMING FROM TEXAS.

EVERYTHING IS IN PAINT, CAMS ARRIVE TODAY, JUST GOTTA WAIT FOR THE DAMN SPRINGS

MO does have the emissions testing (Gateway Clean Air Act), and it is a huge farce. They make you wait for hours in a cattle bin, and take your 24 bucks just to roll your vehicle in, plug in a reader and shove you out the door. Thankfully, I have heard that that program is ending this August, and the mom-and-pop shops will start testing like they used to when you get your MO safety inspection. Time will tell for sure, but I have two years to worry about the Mustang. The sad thing is, my truck plates are due in JULY.

Some counties dont have TJ but some do. I live in Jefferson county same as windveill. ( I guess kinda obv. since we are family) Franklin county is next to us and they dont have emissions. Like he said though if we go back to Mom and Pop shops I have a great hook up back there. I never even had to pull my car in to the shop. Pull up give my money to my buddy whos dad owened the place... puff puff pass..and good to go LOL That was in my younger days though lol. I am sure I still have hook up though. It doesnt matter to me though as I said since I am military and live out side the state I will never have to do emissions. I dont have to do them as long as I am not in State more than 30 days and who is to know if I am. Unless windveil gets pissed off cause I have more horsepower than him with no exhaust..Lmao I dont pass a toll bridge to go in there you know what I mean .LOL As long as I dont get a ticket say on first and then get one on second following month LOL. Then again its alot diffrent in Mid West. Military member gets pulled over you show your ID and 9 times out of 10 they let you go..We are heros back there..just to many military in California..just my thoughts hope I dont offend anyone

Last night the new panhard brace and bar went on, along with the lower control arms. it was about 60 degrees here last night, but of course we paid for it this morning with several tornado warnings and severe thunderstorms. I used to live in Arkansas and all they have is safety inspects thats why i thought the same for MO. That sux that they let each county govern that.

I kinda miss those thunderstorms you get back there, you never get a good crack of thunder around here. You know the ones that blow out your fridge and make you leave streaks in your underpants.
