Updates on my car

Here's a little update on my car. The install has begun on the supercharger and the torque converter. Checked on my gears and found that some bolts has gotten loose and did quite good damage to the locker and gear. A big chunk of the locker and few of the teeth on the ring gear were gone. It was a good thing, could have locked up on me while driving. It was good timing. Also discover my water pump has gone bad and was leaking badly. So all that is going to be replaced.

Good they are making progress and glad they found the problems. Sounds like something didn't get torqued when the gears were done. What was loose the carrier bearing cap bolts?

So what gear ratio and differential are you gonna go with now?

staying with FRPP, 4.30. Yep, the bearing cap bolts.

Yep, that would have been real bad. I think by not driving on the freeway saved me some time, too.

what are you going to do about the Diff? built unit with beefy axles sounds like a good idea
Kenne bell TQ+4.30's+3500 stall= snapped axles(with good tires)

I have an 04 GT water pump you can buy off of me :D
I can't really tell what year your car is, but It wont work with your Under drive pullies if your car has the old style water pump.

Update: The gear and locker, torque converter are in. Will be putting in the supercharger and intercooler next. Projected completion is Friday. There is a blog on this project on Renegade's website.

I would also like to thank Bruce at JBA for putting in a tune on my tuner so I can get my car started with the new injectors and MAF, and of course, the S/C, so it won't flood my engine. After completion, will be going down to JBA for a custom tune and dyno to see where she is.
