Well Raced a Viper at Qualcom this past Friday. Was Fun. The first race was pretty close. I cam eout of hole first and when hit second I was still ahead till shifting in 3rd. Yeap he came around me like I was sitting still. I had no bottle left. It was funa anyway.. We did it about 3 times or 4 and he just kept handing it to me was coll out and I couldnt hook for Crap. I may go back out next event with the hoosiers if I still have them .. I want to get rid of them ow just taking up space and dont want to buy wheels right now going to wit till tax season and get greg welds skinnys and fattys for back

Phil, you are a KRAZY mo-fo but you are definately improving in the drag racing arena.

Go get 'em Phil, you're doing what many of us WANT to do but are too chicken.

I know there are others here who drag race too but Phil seems to be more into it. LOL

i would definately race my car more if i wasnt so scared of somehting big breaking. both times ive run it something has broke. 1st time it was the exhaust hangars snapped in back, second time i popped the airbag in my spring and my clutch has been jacked up ever since. i would rather run the 160hp pontiac because i know i will drive it home afterwards with no problem!

Check the website "racelegal.com'". I never remember the schedule I look every week to see if they are running. I won't have my car til next month so til then no racing for me I will just watch..

i ran a viper on the highway today going to work. 2 times. it was a brad new GTS. i didnt do as bad as i thoguht i would. it did have 400+hp on me. i got beat, but he didt walk away as fast as i thoguht he would til about 80mph. then he started pulling really hard. those cars are fast!

well the thing is man, most of those guys with vipers have A LOT of work done. my father inlaws viper club is a perfect example. a bunch of 40 and 50 something guys i figure with stock vipers, try again 600-700, 900, 1000hp cars with straight up race setups. those cars are wicked fast and most of those guys have attended several professional driving schools.
