What's this sh!t about being illegal to wash your cars at home?
I have a professional detailer (for my wife's car) who says you can still do it as long as you do it on porous ground (dirt or your lawn). AND....the water from washing your car CANNOT enter any storm drains (contaminants, I suppose) But NOTHING about completely outlawing car washing.

yeah, the run-off from the wash detergents are prohibited from entering storm drains since its washes directly into the ocean. However, you can do it on dirt or lawn so it will just seep into our water table! California and thier laws......
