wat a crappy morning

So this morning I went to check my bank acct online to see if I got paid and noticed that I was in the negative, so I was all WTF I scroll down and noticed somebody had hacked into my online log in and cleaned out my acct, I called BOA and they gave the whole sorry blah blah blah and then informed me that this could take up to 60 DAYS!!!!! Wat a way to start a Friday morning

Wow.... the sucks!

I would make sure your computer is clean of any virus's that could trap personal info and change any of your passwords on other important accounts.

Take this from personal experience, the bank will not protect you. And it could get worse. Social Security number, credit cards... so I wouldn't wait.

Here's some advice that I recommend EVERYONE do.

Call all 3 credit reporting companies, Experian, Equifax and Transunion. You can find thier number online. Have them place a "freeze" on your profile or a "fraud alert". This prevents anyone from viewing your profile, will help cut down or eliminate those annoying pre-approval letters you get in the mail and most importantly.....NO ONE can run your credit unless you call before hand to lift the "freeze/block".

If you need to apply for credit or buy a car/house, simply call ahead of time and let them know you will be having your credit ran. If infact someone has your info to open credit in your name, they won't be able to unless personal questions are answered to release the freeze/block.

All of this is FREE if you contact the 3 companies directly yourself. You don't have to pay those advertised companies monthly fees.

OMG I had that happen with Pay Pals they put the money back right away but had a time with the bank,, I needed my money NOW not in6-110 working days ,,maybe it will go quick for you...sorry..
