Well Boys I got my Dyno Results

Roushed2

302 Motorsports
Turns out the Tune on the Roush is screwing up my timing

I will post pics a little later of the sheet.

My Dyno sheet looks like a seismegraph lol
(thats what measures Earthquakes Beejay)

242.2 RWHP

280.0 lbs Torque

The guy said if my timing and tune gets fixed i should gain another 20-30 rwhp

Hey same RWTQ as me but 18 less RWHP than I am at.....how is that possible? Is that the 3 valve difference?

Hmmm pushrod motor BJ has putting out230HP or the improperly tuned ModMotor putting down242 and 280 TQ..............

Easy decision for me.....Mod Motor FTW!

Sorry BJ I got one of each and the Mod Motor gets my vote...

I like the pushrod motor also. How can you call it out of date? GM is still putting out some bad azz pushrod motors. That is why I went with the 1995 since it was the last of the 5.0

The mod motor also is a nice set-up and can make great power also. But for me the 5.0 pushrod all the way.

Who tunned it last and what kind of tune? Is there any good tunners out in your area?

It will always be a back and fourth between the 5.0 and mod motor. For me I can wrench on a 5.0 motor alot easier and to me is cheaper to build.

That is another hard one also. People always have there tunners and will stand behind them. I ended up with ST Motorsports out in San Bernardino. The 1994-1995 Mustangs are hard to tune since they are obd1 and obd2 combined in 1. Also KB recomends them for install and tunning.

Other wise I would have went with RET but they are far away from me. On motor and 11-12 PSI I put down 447HP & 439Torq on a 11.2 A/F and that was off the bottle. I hit over 500 with a 50 shot. I could have had him move the A/F up to 11.5-11.8 and picked up an easy 20-30HP but I wanted it real safe. Overall it is a good tune.

wouldve been worth the drive, i stand behind those guys pretty hard.

I would have but I figured if KB stands behind this guy and people are shipping there cars to him I would give him a shot. It runs hard and very streetable.
