Well I was BAD...Had a Run in with a 07-08 Cobra

Hey all:

Well I was BAD and had a little street race. It was in a safe area though with little to no traffic. It was about 9:30 P.M.

He chased me down which was the best part. It was a 07-08 Red Cobra. Not sure if it had any work but his blower was load as hell.

Never got to do a full stop which would have been a huge advantage for me anyways.

We ran 2 times and both times where the same turn out. One was from 15-20MPH and the other was 25-30 MPH up to 125-130 or so.

Well I dont like to down other fellow Mustang owners, but he would'nt even give me any type of thumbs up or roll his window down after the race. He had his G/F or Wife in the car and I guess he was pissed. His car was bad azz and all I wanted to know what was done to it.

As for the race I would say I had maybe 7-8 cars on him maybe more. I tried to see if he blew his tires off but it didn't sound like it and I kept the pull all the way to 130 plus.

It was fun and I usually dont street race like that but it was well worth it for what I raced.

I just wanted to share it with you all.

On motor with 11-12PSI I am putting down 457HP and 434Torq with a 11.3-11.4 A/F I just had the tuner do a little twicking on it the other day. I was at 11.0-11.1 and was a little to rich for me. On the 50 shot of Nitrous I put down 517HP and 501Torq. I would of used the nitrous but I need a remote bottle opener.

Also it is a new motor with maybe 8K-9K miles on it with AFR Heads, Trick Flow cam, 1.7 Rockers, Edelbrock Air Gap II, 75MM T/B, 80MM MAF, 42LB Inj, Trick Flow Fuel Rails & Regulator, Full Exhaust, Full MSD set-up and so on.

In about 1-2 Months I am going to get a full custom intercooler set-up and have it re-tuned more aggresive. Then maybe more boost.
