what size should i use for a compressor? just for personal use on the car at home, ie. pulling of wheels, removing a motor just basic stuff.

Absolutely^^^^ Buy the BIGGEST you can get I have a 26 gallon 9 cfm 130 PSI compressor that's an UPRIGHT. Do yourself a favor and make sure it's an upright. Saves space. Get the largest, highest psi, highest cfm upright you can find.

Something like this:

Some air tools will not so much require high PSI as they will high cfm. Get the highest, biggest largest you can get your hands on! Not simply something that will "get you by".

is that any good gt400? the link u posteD?

That compressor he posted is $300 brand new and comes with tools. $250 is not a deal for that one. I know I have it. It is great for all of the small stuff, but if you are trying to cut something the compressor can't keep up.

I didn't post the link because i thought you should buy that particular person's compressor, just to show you a vertical compressor example. You can find one like that for about a hundred and a half used if you search for awhile.
