What suspenion mods do I need?

I'm stock right now. All I have in subframe connectors (not installed yet)

I want to start with less expensive and the move on to full tub k member and a arms. I need a place to start for major 60 ft gains. I wanna get my stang as close to 7's N/A as possible. Need a list. Price cheepest (affordable, not cheap made) to most expensive, and a list that will help me the best with price not a factor. I wanna build my suspension over winter and have a kick ass stang next track season. Thanks

id start with double adjustable upper and lower control arms, save up, then UPR sells a nice tubular k member, with a coil over kit, and tubular a arms. the upr kit is like 700 bucks

UPR's stuff is awsome, get the pro series control arms, the tubular k member was worth the money because it helped pushed my car in to the 7's, and oh course bobby will tell you to get an anti roll bar too....i haven't tested it yet but we'll see come this weekend....

What all mods do you have. You can pm me. Your on stock motor right? I know we're close in times. Just wondered what all you had. I dipped in the 7's on spray. I wanna do it all motor then spray it again for a mid to low 7. Thanks

Yep i have the stock long block, the suspension mods are listed in my garage, as far as the block it wont be stock for long, my mmr SB should be done at the of the week, i really highly recomend the upr k member though, team z, mm, and the aje set up's are all highly sought after

Dont even waste time and money on poly, just get solid every thing, my poly bushing didnt even hold up to running on slicks so the pro series rear suspension will work great

do like im doing ...keep running untill eric and orange have maxed out their abilities to get quicker times due to suspension... then buy every thing they have at that time... =D

I would stay away from QA1 K-members. They have a reputation for breaking. Do a search on the corral. you'll see what I mean. I would go AJE Racing. I have owned 2 of them now and they are top quality and fit.

I am not a huge fan of the UPR stuff either, but it is "affordable". I am super happy with the Baseline suspensions products that I have. The ARB and the upper control arms are great and they are a huge contributor to the success of the car and I highly recommend them.

For the lowers you will need weight jackers unless you go coil overs in the rear. You need a way to adjust ride height if you really want to dial the car in. If you go with coil overs in the rear then get the Baseline Suspensions lowers. If you go with weight jackers I would go with Max Motorsports.

Also if you go weight jackers use 84-93 V8/V6 NON gt rear coil springs. If you go with coil overs use a 110lb spring.

In the front I would use a strange coil over kit. The UPR one is a pain in the ass to adjust and if you are not a Gorilla you'll be tired as hell after adjusting them!

Strange 10 way adjustable struts in front. Once you get some suspension stuff we can talk about how to adjust everything. :)

I heard some bad reviews about qa1's k member too, as far as quality you get what you pay for, aje is good stuff but is a bit more exspensive, im very happy with my set so far....

I want to throw this out there to prevent you from opting out of the Baseline Uppers. The stock geometry is off and is not good for drag racing. The Baseline suspensions Upper control arms correct the position of the upper control arms by raising the upper rear mounting point approximately 1/2". This makes a huge difference in the way the car hooks!

Once you become familiar with Instant center and Anti-squat you will see what I mean.
