I believe you need to take into account gears and height of tire for the traps. Something I am about to start researching for the Cobra. -Shane
slow down here kimo sabi! Those may not work. I originally bought those for the rear of my SN95 and they wouldn't work!
On the ProStars Don't mount anything until you check for fitment. When you get the wheels mock them up. When I bought mine I had to elongate holes because they didn't line up. Part numbers were correct, but the holes were off. Summit said they couldn't take them back because I had already mounted the tires.
Now before you go buying new tires, what rpm do you cross the traps at @ barona? What size are the slicks that you have on there now?
For the 15x4's you can buy the MT front runners or just get a small radial at any tire shop. A small radial will be cheaper. I told Emilio about this and I believe he bought radials for the race car. He can tell you what size they bought.

Im not concerned about the rear wheels or tires, the spacers should work i did some research to see what will work for the cobra breaks and people say the one inch spacer will work fine and these will bolt down using the old studs and have its' own studs, besides even if there is issues i can use the spacers that i already have sitting on the fronts... i just need to get tires and im sure i can find them around town

i used 5/16 spacer with stock studs. I got the spacers from pep boys for 7.99 each. I think mine are 185/65/15.
So did you buy all four or just skinnies?

i got all four, 15x8 for the rear and 15x4 up front

That is no excuse. He could have run the rears until new tires are needed. Cancel the order and get the 15x10's or you will regret it!!!!!!!! Call Summit NOW!!!!!

Ok know it all, do what you want. There is a reason why I've run a 1.48 60' with less power than you and leaving @ 1600rpm.

you can fit 26/10.5/15 et streets on those rims. Thats what im gonna get. If i were to order the rims new, I woulda got 10's. But I traded a guy straight up for my rims I have on the car. Came with street tires. Ill run them till I get the et streets.

Oh... by the way. I ran a 1.6 60 ft. Leaving on spray with a 150 shot on STRAIGHT slicks. (26/10.5/15) with stock suspension. Broke me rearend a couple weeks after that, LMAO. I got a 1.7 with slikcs all motor. In not going back with slicks unless i have locker, c clip elims, and 31 spline. That'll be a while.

yeah my rear was holding up to the 5k launches and was cutting the 1.7's, the slicks i got are 26x10's wich is more then enough for me plus i got them damn near brand new for hundred bucks, cant beat that, wish we did live close we have pretty evenly matched cars, would be a good race...:rock:
