What year is the best Fox platform? (Not counting the '93 Cobra R)

man, a fox would be soo cool to own, how do you think it will do as a commuter car from lbc to san diego, i will be coming down on the weekends

the guy i bought mine from drove it 100mi to work round trip everyday and didnt have a problem... commuting should not be too big of a problem
