no i get you orange, thats a 302 though, for a mod motor i dont think its cost effective but thats just me, to each his own. i do know that a stroked 2v 4.6 is looking at upper 300's at best, thats weak. im not gonna lie, im obviously partial to just relying on forced induction.

I hear ya. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to the mod stuff.

THat got out of hand quick...Ok so group concensus on stick with the original plan, I have just heard that there is nothing better for DD then a positive displacement blower, and that is where this car is going to spend 99 percent of it's time

ok, the thing i think everyone forgot in that is he ALREADY HAS a 4v, so, 2v is out. and about stroking a mod motor...ask 1WKDRSH and his boosted 5.0L 3v.

bottom line, is forget the 03 motor swap, thats pointless. buy a new stronger block and build it up yourself. if you want to stroke it, then great, if not, then its your preference. get some good heads and a big supercharger....KB, Whipple, whatever...and you gonna be looking at good numbers

you could even go the way VP had wanted it origonally and build a stroker and twin turbo it...that would be nice!

just throwin it out there!!! i have heard,,, not particularly from an expert, but from some of the guys i know that have done some further research, that stroking a mod motor leads to failure, they said that it for what ever reason has weaker parts than original. like i said though i dont know this to be fully factual, but i have heard people say it!! and fyi, if you got a 4v motor already go with a mmr short block, and a bad ass blower!! youll make more power than you ever want!! but you motor is already very strong, it just has week rods, and pistons!! so beef it up and get a good blower!! i have a mmr 900 and it works great for me!!

I am going to build a 323ci BOSS block, I would go TT but i have emissions to deal with, so a NOVI with a carb number is my best route. I already sourced a spare set of heads getting a 5 angle with bigger valves and a mild custom cam setup. Then ported polished shortrunner intake maniflod from a guy in Texas.
