Well I do too! I have been doing a ton of reading on the geometry of the stock suspension in our cars thanks to www.baselinesuspensions.com . Just read this write up. http://www.baselinesuspensions.com/info/hereswhy.htm

If you surfed that site at all you may have come across the stock mustang vs modified (these upper control arms) 60' improvement. The car went from 1.60's to 1.47 just because of this control arm set up.

I'm already running the baseline suspensions anti-rollbar and the quality of that was impressive so it didn't take long to make my decision to buy this. At $260 it will likely be well worth it.

This site was posting by Emilio a long time ago and I read this stuff, but didn't really understand it. Well I'm beginning to understand it now and it should pay big dividends for the car. I'm not sure if I will get this installed in time for the 18th or not. Once it is installed I have to take quite a few measurements and punch them into a suspension calculator and figure out what needs to be adjusted.

I'm getting down to the fine tuning stages with this car. I'm still tweaking timing and suspension. The car seems to be getting faster. The weather is cooling off which will only help and the T-Brake should be coming soon.

My Goal is to get this car to run 6.60's / 6.50's with the T-Brake and the tuning of the engine and suspension. Most of all I want to dial it in and prove that I can do this, so that I can help more people set up their cars.

Once you get it installed, I want to drop by and take a look. I'm about to start dropping serious cash into my suspension and I'd like to get it close to perfect without jumping through to many hoops.

cool, the bar it self is heavy as ****, i guess i can take out the upper part of the back seat now....

If you get your car weighed like I told you we could find out if it will benefit you to keep the weight in the rear. Moving the battery to the trunk should be your next step. Then I would say it's safe to remove the rear seats.

I spoke to the owner of the weight scales today. He said I can pick up four of them at North Island when I return to San Diego. Eric, and Bobby I guess, will be able to tell the weight of your car at each corner....digitally. These are calibrated scales and should be perfect for our application. Since he has fifty of these scales.....hmmmmmmmm

My new uppers arrived today! PapaTom and I worked all day setting up the current suspension and then this stuff showed up late. :nonono:

Tom if you are up for it I'll be installing this stuff on Friday morning. I'm off and we are dropping off Lil Jimmy at the sitter's house. :)

I'll have to plot everything out again and readjust the pinion angle.

These new uppers were the contributor of a new best 60' time. Before 1.49 After 1.44. Doesn't seem like much, but it makes a difference when you pick that up at the other end. :)
