I was going pretty fast through them when I heard it though. Not positive but the only thing that I could think of was the air splitter under my bumper was dragging.
the turns are banked slightly.....when the car goes into the turn and is being driven hard the front will dip slightly while braking and such(weight transfer, Physics take over basically). At that point the front will rub the pavement on whatever side of the road is higher. For an example of this watch NASCAR. When they go into the turns, you will see the front splitter come down really close through the turns. They will touch on the higher side if they are running the car really low and driving hard. That is not really a good thing for them though as it would be hurting the car if it continues to happen throughout the race. Carl Edwards ground completely through his splitter a few weeks ago and ended up handling like crap because of the airflow under the car. That should not affect a street driven car though unless you are like Pil, trying to drive at 150+ everywhere(I think that is about the speed where lift will start to affect a car with aero like a Mustang....) <<<<Do not quote me on that, it is just a guess based on weight and approximate available downforce.
