Alright Everyone we have good news and even better news. The good news is we need to get back on track with our RaceCar. Deadline that this car will be on the track and running we should shoot for is March 13-15 Fontana CA. Orme Bros Inc. Spring Break Shootout.

And for the better news member Papatom donated to the club a 351w motor, We will be tearing the motor apart this weekend and should have a good idea of what we will need to make this motor work. We may use this as a backup motor to our modular not sure yet.. But, good thing is we have many options to choose.

All, Don't forget all the hard work you'll put into this Wicked Stangs..

De nada senor. Wow, can't wait to see it all ready!

For the 351, I have the water pump. Do you need it or will you go with a new one? I'll check around to see what else I have for it. I've been making alot of trips to salvage yards for my 460 project, If you need stuff let me know and I can be on the look out

Emilio, I have other stuff for a 302 that may work for the 351 also......just let me know.....

New alternator, waterpump are 2 items. I have some fuel pumps but they may not be big enough for the 351W......have a Low pressure and a high pressure one.

looks I'm going to be in the states for another week or so, let me know if you want me to help build the 351w. We can do it the simple way without having to spend too $ and still get good results.

there's a local machine shop that can do the overall inspection and clean up for the shortblock for under $150-200. Including installing cam bearings and resizing rod bolts (if you want to install some ARP rod bolts/studs). The rest hopefully it can come out within specs/standard and we'll just have to swap new main/rod bearings along with new piston rings.

Of course thats just a thought, but if you're planning on doing something more drastic, you would need a performance shop to overhall the entire shortblock and port the heads. That would probably cost over $2-3k...

let me know what you want to do.
