So many advisiors and so little time. Seems like a lot of work must be completed to get this car ready for anything. I'm glad to hear that your lists are made and you're ready to get to work...LOL! Just laughing because it must be a joke.

Now for the truth of matters:

The Y-Block will require installing when and if the HP requires: Please reference the aeromotive website for specs.
As for the wiring: I'll have that done by the end of the week...to include the mounting stand.
As for the details and cleanliness. The weekend of the 25th is reserved to complete that task.
Oh Yes, the K-member. The engine will not be removed during the K-member install. The engine will be suspended during the swap and the old K-member will do until it arrives. Unless the k-member is part of the fuel, starting, ignition system? NOPE!!

Appreciate the inputs, keep them coming.

1. Like I said the Y-block is not required and won't be for a long while. K-member suspended in air? With the same engine hoist that is at Emilio's house? That's pretty safe, lol. You guys like to do things the hard way all the time.

2. 25th reserved for cleanliness? Once again more worried about how things look rather than getting the mechanical finished. Don't you think you should get it running and driving before you call all of your magazines for publicity?

3. Little time is right. Some people have lives and jobs and kids and school, not to mention their own cars! There is life other than Wickedstangs for some.

4. I was trying to save the club time and money installing the fuel system. Now You have all new lines or what not. If you pull off all of the stuff that I put on I would like it back. It was over $150 worth of line and fittings that I will need someday on my own car.

5. This is too funny, lol!!!

Oh and I hate to say it, but the old wiring would have worked just fine. I work with 2 guys (brothers) who have both done the swap of 03 cobra motors in a fox and they gave me some input which I gave the powers of WS. Next thing you know we need $1000 for some wiring!

^^^ LOL Yeah HP I think you are gone more now than when you were active duty.....

Are you running the wiring straight up the center just wrapped up? Will that be ok with the heat from tunnel? I assume it will be getting hotter than a normal car...

I can't make it, I only have a week turn around and I am gone for another two weeks. This month is a killer for me, my schedule opens up more starting in May.

Yes, we need the mount for the computer. A good base would definently help.

The wiring is run in the channels along the doorway. Hopefully we wont need to run any wiring down the middle.

Orange, we have not changed the fuel system at all and wont right now. The only thing were adding tomorrow is the return line from the pressure regulator to the tank. I have a few lines that should work just fine....at least we'll see how they mate up. The steel braided lines I have are from small boat fuel systems. I believe they'll work fine.

Anyone ever get the transmission dipstick or the water lines taken care of? The piping that I had didn't work. I don't think that the dipstick was ever modified or ordered. Then you have the issue of fuel lines since you want to change everything that I already did, so you can run the Y-block. :nonono:

If all of the lines that Emilio said you have are from aircraft they may leak or they may not. The aircraft fitting are a different *flare than the standard -AN fittings for automotive, but what do I know?

The Y-block wil have it's place eventually, but right now it's not needed. I ran a 540HP forced induction car with the exact same set up that I was installing on the race car.

I only bring up these points because you are talking about firing it up. That's not going to happen until these small things are taken care of. Just my $.02

Good luck with the wiring, I hope it was worth the $1000. (I'm not being sarcastic either, lol!)

Just like GT400SC says

And now for your not sarcastic comment..

Was the wiring worth it?... Yes and Hell Yes if you were here you would see for yourself.

From this crap

To this:
24 individually wrapped bags telling you exactly were they go and the wires are even labled... Let you decide...
DSC_0110.jpg

All to keep you informed we installed 5 packages from the ground on the above.
DSC_0198.jpg

From those 5 packages the Injector Wiring is complete, the igintion coil/module are complete even the MASS Air is complete see installed.

If now your asking 5 packages only well we ran into some issue with the hood but, got fixed quick with the help of DSG/GT400SC/LOCO92 and alot of other isssues were addressed...

Hoosierstang did an outstanding job work on removing all the adhesive from the side of the car were we are going to lay the vinyl on..

I grabbed the CPU mount out of the garage. We shall see how to mount it later. I am waiting for the kids to get ready, then I will be over!

Everything looks great! Especially the wheels. I didn't stir the pot. If I remember correctly and GT400SC can vouch for this you said that Todd was going to change the fuel system and put in the Y-block. It's all good man I'm over it. :)

Car is looking great though keep up the good work guys!
