It was different racing with the supercharger. My goal for the day was a 13.5 and that was accomplished!!! First run was a wash and then I started to settle in. Still have to work the rear suspension to get a good 60'. Here are the three passes:
60' 2.345, 13.939@100.11mph
60' 2.023, 12.748@112.44mph
60' 2.096, 12.978@110.81mph
The car still has more in it, but it has to come from the first 60'. I'm looking forward to our next test and tune and Barona. I may have the new uppers and lowers in by then. If not, I'll have to try some shock adjustments.

yes i have to agree about the track prep, it isn't good or bad, i cant seem to do any better any where else
I will be headed to Barona next weekend on the 12th. You game?

My best today was a 12.7 @ over 113mph in the GT500. So I know this car has very low 12's in it. Gears and a better 60ft and it is 11's. But this is one of few times this car will go to the track. It's our family car and I can't break it.
The track Prep was equal to anything I have seen at Barona. Not better or worse.
I had a blast today! This car was all about the top end. Nothing like hitting 3rd with full throttle and the peddle to floor with a clear track in front of you. I like the higher speeds of the 1/4. Great fun!
But Barona is still a better place as far as how they run the track. Auto Club treated everyone like children there. Never seen so many racers getting yelled at. Granted, they may have been doing something stupid, but threatening to kick people off the track for using their cell phone in the staging area. Common!

Its just the way they did it. I didn't get yelled at. I don't plan on going there often, so I don't really care. Just not a friendly atmosphere. People at Barona do it because they love racing and care about everyones saftely. These people it was obvious it was just a Job and they had a chip on their shoulder.
Just an observation. I don't really care, like I said.
Phil(Blackstallion06 used to goto Fontana he liked it there, from the way he talked good about it.
Seems like everyone had decent runs today. Not bad considering most have been running on 1/8th mile and stepped upto the 1/4

All joking aside you guys laid down some good numbers and even better was that everyone had fun and noone got hurt/damaged!!!! Good Job Ya'll
it was a very good track. In my opinion it was very organized for the amount of people that showed. It suxed that we only got to run 3 times all day..
How many total people were there??? Estimate of course.. I know that place fills up for track days too.
There were 4 classes and I was told each class had 50 cars, We were all in class 2 but, it took about 2+ hours for our class to be called once they went through 3,4,1. Class 1 seemed to have more than 50 cars, so I am guess 250+ cars..
Sucks that you only got 3 runs in but atleast your cars got to cool down for consistent numbers!!!!
that was a plus for the cars.. Just the right amount of time for them to be completly cool down
