holy crap! this os is so nice. it shares similarities with vista, but it's so much nicer. not to dog v6's, heck even i had one, but imagine driving a v6... then getting into the seat of a terminator. that's basically what it felt like for me when i got windows 7 running on my laptop. it's so much smoother... interface has some upgrades... and it's generally faster running and more efficient than vista. if anyone wants to get it, i suggest the upgrade.

Im still running the first RC, and It has yet to crash or give me ANY problems.

someone not computer savvy may look at windows 7 and just think it's a "service packed" vista... and while i said it shares similarities, i think this os is what ms wanted vista to be. hence the v6 => terminator reference.

i also used to use firefox and internet explorer, but i'm now running google chrome on this laptop. chrome + widnows 7 as a the os is awesome. both were made to be efficient, so it works really well.

like i said, if you're not really computer savvy, it may just look like a modified vista... but you'll get more out of windows 7 than you would with vista. never really had issues with vista myself, but i'm glad i upgraded / tried windows 7. don't think i'll be going back. :)
