Why ya treat me like that?
Well, being the curious person I am, I'm just wondering what y'all do to get in shape, keep in shape, get in better shape?

I started lifting weights yesterday and.....off I gOoooooooooooooo

Here is a utube video of just a tiny bit of Chris Cyborg's (MMA) work out. Think you can do it? I think it would be a fun challenge FOR FUN to see if any of us can crank it up!

If you watch it on utube you can have a big screen view. That's better.

You should join one of those MMA gyms (i.e. Und1sputed, Throwdown, Alliance [Brandon Vera's gym]. I lift weights 3-4x a week, bicycle, or hike.

I trained at "VBAMA" Virginia Beach Academy of Martial Arts for 2 1/2 years. I know the blood, sweat, and tears that go into that kind of conditioning. I loved it. Unfortunately it cost me one of my knee's and I have not gone to another since. Knee's are healed now so I might start looking again once my collor bone heals. I miss it soooooo bad. There is nothing quite like being able to punch/kick/knee/elbow someone in the face and not look around for cops. many a sore night ended from some of those days.

I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to punch/kick/knee/elbow people. Just as a protective measure. Muhahahahahahahahahaha

Thanks! I've been thinking about that. I feel like I need to have at least a fairly solid overall fitness and strength base first.

I would think a gym would have someone using proper lifting techniques so they don't throw out their back? But why does she care, she can beat her doctors ass!

E that woman would destroy you!!!!!!!

I don't want to fight her yose! Just want to be able to work out like that.

I'll never be as big as she is. I don't have the genetics for it. I can work myself kick ass strong but I don't think they have a category in MMA for a 100 pounder. LOL

I did myself really good yesterday. I'm sore as heck but I did some different exercises this evening to kinda move the lactic acid out a bit.

I'll start running again tomorrow. My work is very physical too so I have a little help there.

FS, be careful lifting weights with such a small frame. you can damage your body. i life 5 days a week, but i have founf that cardio is what really gets you in shape and makes you look ripped. i hate running, but interval training works and its not so repettitive

FK! I was on a very easy run this morning and all of a sudden my left butt frogged up so bad I thought my hip fell out of the socket.

I love to lift. Makes me feel very studly. LOL
