That was a good run for the GT500. If the car could have pulled out of the hole better, it might have been able to hold on; that all we drive car just got a great jump!!!!
 
as much as i love the new gt500 (ill probably get one in 2015 depending on how the new 2015 stang looks or 13 boss in school bus yellow) i think a blown 5.0 on a stock gt would beat out all those high end cars. not bad for a sub 40k setup lol. there have been numerous shops (jpc racing/vmp etc) that with just a blower pushing the same boost as the new shelby have dipped into the 9s. shows u how awesome the 5.0 is.
