well what if we just meet a little north of miramar and just drive down the highway and get off at friars? or your option sounds great as well. i would drive around and look but im in the middle of the ocean lol heading home at 16kts 20 people so far not to bad! i messed up the link so im going through the different forums and adding to my post

i got another route if anyone wants to think about it. meet up at a homr depot parking lot on scrips poway parkway. head to the 67 and go south to mission gorge or the 8. mission gorge turns into friars, or we can take the 8 over to the 15 and up. that might be a better route, and i am down with it. whats everyones opinion.

okay...an update. just called the park. i am going to go down there tomorrow and reserve the spot. alcohol is allowed. no glass though. no pets either. we can either bring cans of beer (my recomendation) or we can rent a keg from the office. also it like we can get our cars on the field for a pic. gota talk to the boss today or tomorrow to confirm and it is gonna also be a busy day in the park. a lot of people are reserving the gazebos. ill post more when i find out

okay, so i got the spot and i am waiting to hear from the boss to confirm that we can get our cars on the field. i dont think it will be a problem. i will have to be there to set up in the morning and then my wife will stay back and watch the BBQs and such while we meet up and cruise down from wherever. we have to be our of the park by 6pm tho.

the spot is small and will fit only 50 people, but i think we can bring some of those fold out chairs and stuff.

its open to anyone. i am inviting my buddy with his G35 he just bought too. i know we will have more than 50 people, but i am hoping that the park wont care, and if everyone from wickedstangs pitches in 5 bucks that will more than pay for the BBQ and the rest can go towards the next event to where we dont have to fund it out of pocket. oh, and emilio, they said we can have music if we want, just cant be derogitory in nature, so were good there.
