the cruise is unplanned so far, however we can show up to the park at 9, set up, and then leave to meet for the cruise at 1030 and leave the wives behind to watch the spot while we meet and drive down. i am thinking of meeting somewhere in poway and comming down the 67 to the 8 and over, or mission gorge, anyone ever driven that? is it a good road?

How about Poway to ramona then down to Lakeside on the back roads to the 8 to Admiral Baker.....
It is about 60 miles but looks like a decent road from Ramona to Lakeside....
Just a thought. Do not take my word for it, I have never been on that road.

that is a great road, but we wont have that long. were gonna want to be at the BBQ close to 11. how about everyone come up with an idea and check it out this weekend and we will vote on it.
ok but i wont be able to check out any routes lol. could just ride up from the border that would be like a 20-30 min drive.

hells yeah. hopefulyl more ppl rsvp. also was wondering if we could possibly put some times down on the RSVP page so people have a better idea and a fuzzy feeling know when it actually is going down so they can plan accoridngly

okay, i just got the word from the park. he said he will do it but it will be $200 for the spots reserved. i cant afford to put any more in. i already spent $50 on the spot. let me know if we still can do this, and everyone is okay with puting a little more down.
for which spots? also ill be back on the 2nd i could throw some cash your way until the event

$200 for 20 reserved spots closest to our BBQ. its maybe 50 ft from our BBQ spot
well im sure the other wouldnt have a problem paying 10 bucks instead of 5 to support the event i know how it is with money i got spot you in less then 72 hours! man crazy. then we well just get reinbursed for it later. plus throwing down like 60-80 on food for the vent

What BS is this that they want 200 to reserve parking spots in an open parking lot! Just like freaking MWR....
This is seriously irritating. They want cash to reserve spots then let us put the cars on the grass. Man I am pissed at this. I could see the 50 for the BBQ site but for a piece of asphalt that we would be using anyway..... How about we just get there early and take all those spots.

because of the slim chance that they will be taken. its supposed to be a busy day there. our cars will get a lot of looks. these are 20 guaranteed spots. and he would have let us put them on the grass. for $5k. thats what the porsche club payed. they rented out the whole park.
