X-Pipe or H-Pipe - Catted or O/R

Hey guys, just a bit of advice if you would. I am debating on getting an x or h pipe, not really sure what the differences will be on them. I am thinking of going catted, so I wont have to worry about the hassle of taking them on and off for smog. Does anyone know the diference in power? iis it worth getting the catted ones or should I just keep the stock one and put it on and off for smog. I am not even sure if the sotck one would fit the bbk shorty headers i jus got. Any suggestions would be Cool. BTW, if you a X or H pipe laying around for sale let me know. Rob

I always suggest the o/r prochamber from MAC. It is not smog legal and would require a change out prior to smogging. There is a pipe to hook your smog to, but not legal.

Rumor is that the x-pipe provides more of an increase in torque and a higher pitch exhaust. The h-pipe provides a lower tone, with more growl. However, the prochamber is just mean sounding.

I bought an O/R H pipe from BBK and it didnt fit good at all. Had to take it to an exhaust shop and so on and so forth. I am happy with the performance gain though and it sounds good.

Most of the kits dont fit right. I purchased a prochamber from MAC and had to modify the pipe hangers to get it to fit.
