X Pipe

im almost thinking about taking it off. its WAY too damn loud. i get a headache now every time i drive it. seriously. it is freaking insane!!!!! that silver CObra running around with an x dont have sh!t on me. he has borla muffs on it. i have those single chamber muffs. they might as well be straight pipes. but needless to say i have to wear ear plugs now to drive it. and it smells like a 60's muscle car if you are standing be hind it.

its going to smell when you dont have cats... they are suppose to burn off the emissions... if you go with mac performance or 2 chamber flows it wont be so loud... what did you think the off road X was going to do?????

Andy, i knew it would be loud. but i didnt think that it would be THAT LOUD!!!!!!!!! i ran into that other guy with the 01 Cobra. He has an x-pipe on his with Borla muffs on it and it wasnt even close to as loud as mine. not by a long shot. its those damn single chamber muffs on mine. it might as well be straight pipe. But yeah... THE F-IN THING F-ING SCREAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dustin i think ill ride it out for a while but if i change my mind ill let you know. I am also considering some long tubes and a catted x pipe but we will see. in the mean time ill keep my eyes open for a deal on one. shipped mine was about $450. but i have seen some awesome deals out there. what brand are you looking for?

I would really like a SLP o/r X pipe, because it has the options that if u go Longtube, you can adjust it, just detach the clamps, and BAM! You have an X pipe that fits shorties, and long tubes.. but thats sh*t it like 800 bucks, and the long tubes are over a grand. Unless i roll into some cash that aint gonna happen.

if you buy any x pipe for shorty's it will work with long tubes... you just cut it to fit the collectors... Really if your going to do Long tubes dont Buy a off rod Mid pipe... It will be nothing but a cop magnet! And from what i heard the machs only get like 12 more Whp with long tubs!

Dont get rid of thew X pipe Chris just get rid of those damn Single chamber drunmasters! Borla or MAC or Magnaflow all will sound better... Just have them welded in to your cat back you have now... will save alot of money that way!

also i hear H pipes are alittle bit quiter but i think you should ask Turbo joe about that!

Mine actually got deeper and definitely louder when I installed my x pipe.
