yeah... i got pulled over in hanford and the dude actually got a mirror and a flash light and let me know that my cat back is illegal then seen that i have no cats and was like yeah yer ****ed then let me go. He has a mustang and didnt want to impound mine. So now when i get home its either gut my old cats and put them on or get some high flows.

likei said you get pulled over without cats you get ticketed.

you get pulled over with gutted cats your safe cause it looks stock and sounds like its catless.

Cops can still smell the raw exhaust fumes and having gutted cats won't help you there. High-flow cats flow very well and are still relatively loud compared to an offroad pipe. I used to have them on my car. You won't have a noticeable difference in power with or without them.

Silver if your looking for a Pypes O/R X pipe pick one up brand new, they are very inexpensive, and the 1 i put on my V6 was made very well

it should give you a pretty good gain since you will be getting rid of your cats, or if you wanna go with a deeper more toned sound for your stock exhaust you can do what im doing and replace your stock H with a O/R mac prochamber

the Cats are not that restrictive... its the X or H that is giving more power not he no cat side of it...

the cats can't be restrictive for SMOG reasons.... waste your time and health to gut your cats for maybe a horsepower or two and a exhaust that wont let you think ask VENOM1.... but have fun breathing Rhodium, palladium, and platinum oh and cerium!

its great for the lungs and body... dont waste your time guting your cars... unless you have no worry about smog you will be totally ****ed and need a 500 dollar mid pipe to pass....

before you gut the cat look at how well it will flow... you can see straight through the damn thing... can't even say that about some mufflers....
