it all depends. i have a x pipe. o/r means no cats and you wont be able to pass smog most liekly. but for n/a cars its godo to have cats sometimes to have backpressure and you will make more hp. but straight pipes basically is for supercharged or turbo charged tons of air in really quit exhaust moves out

Well what gives better hp gains and which do you think sound better. Its either the Pypes x-pipes or I go for an H-pipe system. Help me VP_96COBRA, you're my only hope.

its a matter of preferance. x-pipes have better flow. i think emilio posted up the difference between the two a few threads ago, i will see if i can find it.

H-pipe is louder, but you do have a V6, so it's not going to be as deep as you imagine (different rumble due to the firing order of V6 vs V8). X-pipe is better for hp, best way for you to decide is listen to some youtube clips, they have a sh*t ton... When I bought my car it had straight pipes, way too loud for my liking, I now have an x-pipe and very happy with it....
