LOL i probably will never use 5th unless im on a road course that i can hit a 180mph on LOL! With 1:1 4th gear with the last trans it redlined at 148MPH! so that .80 5th gear of the t56 will get me that 180MPH............LOL thats why i want to go with ethier 4:10's or 4:30s so i can use 5th.... God i cant wait! We are going to need a Road course Event very soon!................lol

Isn't that the truth! Dont get me wrong I'm all for 1/4 mile..... But I also like to have a car that handles really well. If you guys would have seen the 68 mustang you would now that. It had 1 inch front sway bar and 3/4 inch rear with 1 1/2 inch lowering, qucik ratio steering box, and of course the weld in traction bars by Carrol shelby... that thing could corner like a new gt and hook up like no other... So with that said

When i build a car i want it to be a STREET MACHINE not "Just" a 1/4 mile Beast...

as long as you do adjustable shocks when you lower it you will get a better ride than stock! I need shocks, lol

Well after waiting weeks for the transmission, the drive shaft has to be shortened an inch, Like i said in the begining.... God i hope he gets this right, Or the mach might be going out the window.... I'm so tired of dealing with this car...I was on the internet and saw that i might even have to have a switch put in to make the reverse work now!!! but i havn't hear anything come out of steves mouth so maybe i was looking at a Chevy or mopar T56??? I don't know... I just know im tired of waiting and if somthing goes wrond with this transmission im selling this car!!!!!!

Well got the phone call, car is done..... the reverse thing i was talking about is an option..... it is so the car will go in reverse when it is still rolling forward... No need to do that. thats how you brake shit! lol trust me i know.... I might beable to make the coalinga cruise but i work at 3:30 so i will be leaving early.... I will be picking the car up tomorrow morning so i will post my feelings about the t56 tomorrow afternoon... God i cant wait to hear that new exhuast and put on my new intake! and Wash the car it is so dirty LOL!

Well congrats Andy. Well Central Valley what are we gonna talk about now? LOL I sure hope you can make it out for a little while I took off work myself..Be nice to get out and spread word about a possible Dyno day. should be a really good drive out there too.. I think I may take mine to Ford Thursday have it detailed and window replaced. I have to talk to insurance tommorow about this check I got though from them lol..

I didnt get any message. I know he checked on it and said it would be 1000$ unlimited cars and runs.. we need to get a for sure head count though. The first DD we set up was kinda a flop. We told them that we had a positive 15 heads or something I think we actually showed up with 8 or 9 cars. I want to make sure we are not wasting anyones time ..

I love IT!!! so far everything is great... I'm going to try to get the exhaust tips to sit back a little bit more, there sticking out a little to much, but ovther then that everything is great....

Andy did you ever get gears? I bet you are getting great gas milege.. How much heavier is the 6 spd compared to 5? you gonna hang out sunday? I am getting my window fixed tommorow and car detailed

I will hang out for a little bit on sunday, but I have to work at 3:30..... and no never got gears just a cat back and C&L intake.... that i love by the way car doesnt feel slower at all, oh and the 6 speed is like 10 more pounds... nothing to make it slower other then going from a 3:38 to a 2:97 first gear that i love. it puts second gear right in the middle of the power band......it pulls hard!!!!

NOW YOU NEED 4.10'S FOR THAT BABY. sINCE YOU HAVE A 6SPEED ITS A GEAR JUST FOR FREEWAY USE.

Well if i wanted the fastest mach around i would through in those gears.....But I drive to many miles a day to go with 4:10's right now...Maybe after im done with school and I'm settled down a little i will prbably go with somthing along the lines of 4:56's!! I dont plan on putting boost, and the people that i have talk to that have ran 4:30's wish they had 4:56's...... You got to remeber the 4V engines loves to rev. But I think im done moding for a while, maybe a tune in the near future, but to be real i just want to drive the car and enjoy it.... I still haven't got to do that yet with all the bull shit that has been going on! But right now I'm loving every minute of it!

I would just like to say.......I love driving my car.......lol! I have to take you guys for a ride. The first gear pull once you hit 2500 is amazing...The new exhuast is awsome other then the hangers but that will be fixed tomorrow.


There's nothing better then chirping third gear in a mach 1 with a 6 speed!!!!
