Team Shelby Track Days October 16 & 17, 2010 We are trying to put together a two day track event at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. Team Shelby would like to see if WickedStangs would also like to be apart of this. I will be asking LASAAC during the SAAC 35 event in Sonoma, CA this weekend. :rock:

Team Shelby is trying to get a head count to see what it would cost per person.. This sounds like a great opportunity. Give me more of a reason to get my new wheels and tires...:hello:

i won't be able to make this one. it will be the weekend that gibs comes home as well as when i am doing all of my last minute cleaning before moving to hawaii!!

Sounds bad ass to me. If I am inport I am all for doing this.... I wonder if Mr. Shelby will be there himself. I love to get my car signed. Some of you shelby guys should do the same the guy is not going to live for ever

Would love to get Carroll Shelby's signature, but I think its $250 to his charity for his autograph.

Hello WickedStangs,

Alex Mackenzie and I are setting up this event for October 16 & 17, 2010. The cost per day will be $100 for the track and $25 for The Carroll Shelby Foundation. The cost per day at Chuckwalla is $185 to $200, but Alex knows the owner and he has given us a great price break. Also lodging at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino has been reduces from $199 per night to $125 per night.
I am right now trying to receive approval from The Carroll Shelby Foundation to use their logo and also with Team Shelby.
For stangs out there that are convertibles and do not have a roll cage, like me, you will be able to have fun with your Mustang on these two days.
Thanks Emilio for post this thread. I will be talking to LASAAC this weekend at SAAC 35 to also invite them. Is Carroll going to be able to make it? He will be invited and it is all up to his schedule.

I just did a Photo Shoot with Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. I am told the feature article will be out in December and I am suppose to be on the cover.

Currently in 5.0 Mustang in the Fabulous Fords Forever article, there is a photo of my engine bay.

I have had photos of my stang in these magazines and others.
