Well in the short time I was on the track ( two sessions) I ran the best of 2:19, Ethan ran the same 2:19, Ken ran a 2:23 in Bad bullit and Dave ran a 2:24 with the 2K7GTCS . Next time i am at the track I will be shooting for 2:10 and Maybe lower Oh by the way most Vettes were running 2:10-2:15.

There is a HUGE difference between running 2:19 and running 2:10!!
Although I was able to shave 10 seconds off of my lap times from my first trip to this track (first time on any track), I went from slow (2:34) to less slow (2:24).

Average speed is the real difference, especially on a track where most of the time is spent in the turns:
2:34 = 63.0 mph {David first time}
2:24 = 67.5 mph {David this time}
2:23 = 67.8 mph {Ken}
2:21 = 68.5 mph {Soji first time)
2:19 = 69.5 mph {Jon & Ethan}
2:10 = 74.5 mph {Vettes}

I look forward to returning again sometime this year. I wonder how I would do with a manual trans?

I recall pulling a best of 2:17 last time with the vettes running 2:12's in october. Must consult my on board timer, :cool: Jonathan on this one.

Not yet Phil, I am looking at Gt500 rims again or ones that are the same height and width and putting on some slicks or NT01's. Set my swaybar onto the dry road/ race hole and get another strut tower brace and I think I will be hanging with the vettes.
