Calling all gear heads and those WS members that want to assist and learn.

There is a clutch install for a fellow club member, 50hhh, at the Miramar Hobby Shop.
We will meet at the back gate at 8:50 to drive into the hobby shop together. I'll provide the escort service for all those that cannot access the base.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

That's a clutch and set of gears in one day. Where are my wrench turners? This could be a great day for juicing up some Mustangs and raising money for the club. Hurry Up and get on the RSVP list.

One of us can. This is happening even with the rain, right? Todd, do you know if they have a spanner wrench there? I am going to donate some extra money to get some help with an exhaust leak and adjust my coilovers as well.

I have a set a spanner wrenches and would love to offer a hand. I have never done a clutch or gears and have always wanted to. I did install my super charger and fuel system by my self. You guys have an extra spot?

The clutch install was postponed, but the gear install did move forward. After two days of hard work, the gears are finally complete and the install was a fabulous success...whisper quiet and bad to the bone.

As a note: this is the second install, in a row, where the kit bearings did not support the vehicle. If you want to get your gears installed, spend the little bit extra and by the Timken bearings at Autozone (two pinion and two differential carrier bearings). This may cost you about $15 more, but well worth the money.

On Sunday, we installed the coil overs and caster camber plates in Billy's car. The stance is very aggressive and the Bilstiens fit up nice.

A special thanks to Dave, Ben, Billy and Jonathon for assisting with the installs. I just cant do it without all the help. We are doing a great job this spring at raising some money for the Race Car and it wont be long until the car is back at the track.

I ordered latemodel restorations complete install kit. The bearings came in a ford racing box, but they were chinese crap. Comparing the two side by side you could easily see the quality difference. Cost me more money, but at least it's done and Todd did a great job.
