[Mar 2, 2013] Wicked Stangs Swap Meet @ Kobey's (San Diego, CA)

Ok, Wickedstangs members in San Diego, we will have a spot at the Kobey's Swap Meet at the Sports Arena on March 2nd. Swap meet hours are 7-3pm. If you would like to come help us set and sell, gates open to vendor is at 5am-6:30am. A few of us plan on being there at 5am so we can get the truck into our stall without having to do a thousand points turns. If you don't want to get up that early and still help, get there before 6:30am so you can get in for free and tell them you are a seller.

We are accepting donations. Anything you want to get rid of, you can take it to Ladygaga2's home. She graciously allow us to use her garage as a storage for donations. We will accept any household items, such as clothes, toys, DVDs, CDs, small kitchen appliances, small car parts, etc. Anything that is big, like refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, big screen tvs, we will not be able to take. However, if you wish to transport it out to our stall and try to sell it, you are welcome to, but if they don't sell, you will need to haul it out.

Money made at the swap meet will go back to the club for future fundraising events such as toys 4 tots during Christmas, club functions, racecar upkeeps, the website, etc. Any help you can provided will be very much appreciated.

Thanks to all the members who donated items to today's sale. I don't have the official amount, but I can say we had a successful day and made some money for the chapter.
