im gonna need to pull another 1.6 60' to get the car to get close to the 7s but debating whether i should strip the car down or just leave the weight in the back...

Run it the same as you did last time out. If the myth/rumor of every 100lbs saves a tenth in the 1/4 mile, you should see about a .06 decrease in your times off of weight reduction alone.

There are other factors involved though. Such as getting rid of lowering springs in the front for some coil overs is huge, but I think the most difference is going to be felt from the solid lowers and no more wasted bushings!

I predict a 7.98 pass on the 11th @ 87-88mph

what is the rule of thumb when it comes to having a light rear end, what tire pressure should i run if i take out the rear seat? You think i should take out the passenger seat too?

How did you run it last time out? How much gas was in the tank? Did you take out the seats last time?

i ran without the seats and a half a tank and was spinning and only was cutting a 1.8 60 fts, and after i put one of my tires in the back i was cutting 1.7s and the 1.69... and i ran the shocks and struts fully loose too...

If I were you I would remove the passenger seat and leave the rear seats in. I would also run 3/4 tank. This isn't the first time you have mentioned not running well with the rear seats out. It's obvious that you need some sort of ballast back there.

I am the same way man.. If i take out my sub box I spin my butt off. I normally try to have as full a tank as possible.
