This is a unfinished project hood that you will need to finish. It is perfectly useable now, the underside is NOT finished. I never got around to it. It is a "hood pin" hood ONLY and does NOT have a hood striker for the factory latch, nor can it use one.

To help you with setting up the hood pins, I am supplying the hood pins and the fabricated bases that are welded to the stock radiator support brackets. These can be installed in less than a minute. Simply replace your brackets with mine, put the hood on, fasten the loose end of the lanyard to a solid point, put the clasps in the pins and you're off!

So, to be clear, I am supplying the hood, the pre-made radiator braces with the hood pin mounts welded on (I bought another pair of stock ones, so don't worry about trading them), and the hood pins with lanyards. You will however have to remove or slightly modify your plastic radiator cover by opening up two openings for the hood pin mounts.

This is a Shelby GT-H hood, also known as the Shelby CS6 hood that retails for $749 plus shipping. This hood was cracked when I got it and I did a lot of repairs to it. That's why it's so cheap!

Questions? Ask away!

This hood is boxed and ready to go!

If you want to ask WHY, well, here's why.

Thanks E, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have this cool hood right now. I'd still be wandering around in the dark with my thumb up my.....well, that's another story.

Anyway, I'm selling the Shelby hood to keep from having to chop it up into pieces to fit it in my garbage can or from having to make a run to the dump.

So, someone make me a KRAZY offer! I just might take it!

10-4!

I think I should also make mention that this hood MAY not work with certain underhood accessories. If you have some sort of a strut tower brace that's very tall, it may interfere. If you have an aftermarket supercharger, whether mounted in front of the motor or on top, it MAY interfere. Anyone wanting to buy it is more than welcome to bring their car by and do a test fit before buying.

I had to do extensive mods to the underside to "relieve" portions for my supercharger so it would fit and I never got around to finishing it. So, as you can see in the photos, the underside is not finished.

This is a great hood for someone with the time to complete it. If it were perfect, I'd ask a lot more. I will also throw in my radiator cover that is already modified to allow the hood pin mounts to poke through. But it's painted so you will have to repaint it. But hey, it's already engineered for you!

I went to Ford today and bought two "stock" radiator to core support brackets and ordered a new radiator cover panel. So, you'll get everything you need.

If you consider this fact...

Last month, I paid $130 to have my Trufiber hood shipped 90 miles. Can you imagine what it would cost to Missouri?

OK, Just to get rid of this thing and all the associated parts, how about $100?

This includes the hood (unfinished on the underside) the radiator brackets with welded on hood pin supports, the hood pins and lanyards and the radiator plastic cover with cutouts for the supports. Everything you need!

$100! Come on folks, this is a Shelby hood!

Otherwise, it goes to the dump.

$100

Pull the stripes off, repaint to your liking and away you go! 2005 and up.

Bring a pick up truck and a C note and be my friend! LOL
