GT400SC
PM for Decals
THIS IS SOLD, so read the thread for fun, not for finding a hood for sale!
Ask and it shall be answered....
This is a unfinished project hood that you will need to finish. It is perfectly useable now, the underside is NOT finished. I never got around to it. It is a "hood pin" hood ONLY and does NOT have a hood striker for the factory latch, nor can it use one.
To help you with setting up the hood pins, I am supplying the hood pins and the fabricated bases that are welded to the stock radiator support brackets. These can be installed in less than a minute. Simply replace your brackets with mine, put the hood on, fasten the loose end of the lanyard to a solid point, put the clasps in the pins and you're off!
So, to be clear, I am supplying the hood, the pre-made radiator braces with the hood pin mounts welded on (I bought another pair of stock ones, so don't worry about trading them), and the hood pins with lanyards. You will however have to remove or slightly modify your plastic radiator cover by opening up two openings for the hood pin mounts.
This is a Shelby GT-H hood, also known as the Shelby CS6 hood that retails for $749 plus shipping. This hood was cracked when I got it and I did a lot of repairs to it. That's why it's so cheap!
Questions? Ask away!
This hood is boxed and ready to go!
If you want to ask WHY, well, here's why.
