^^^^ We did drive the route back in June.......but the directions changed and some of the group leaders that were here then, have been sent to other places so we had to make due with what we had.

the hardest part was the traffic lights. we had so mny people. at a light the first person wouldnt be the "leader" so they would have no idea where to go. they almost crossed over the I-15 right off the start until i shot over onto the on ramp and they followed me back on course. i agree maps would have been better, but we did have good planning of the route and the leaders knew it, we just werent in the lead.

next time we are going to have 10-15 cars per leader. And the leaders are going to learn all street names and roads by heart..:)

It was a bit confusing, and keeping up with you guys up Palomar was a real pain, so either next year I will go with the slow group, or will have adeed stuff to be able to keep up, had a great time though.

Depending on how comfortable I am by next year with the car, I may still be in the slow group. So I'll probably be with you!

We had a blast. every year the cruise gets better and better. I got lost 4x's. i had to do what i had to do to catch up and not get stranded in a unknown area.I do think that someone should keep an eye out for the people who are left behind. through the cannons I saw a lady in a stang who pulled over. she might of had some car issues. dont know she was left behind. she was lucky someone in a blkstang pulled over and check up on her. stuff like that is very hard to control. people are bound to split up when traveling in large groups. you just cant help it. Overall i think you guys did an amazing job organizing this event. thanks again.
more pics.

There were some nice stangs there for sure.
that 2tone red/blk99-04 body style,
emilios cobra,
gibs gt,
camilion cobra,
the blk.427 roush was way nice,
silver 03-04 cobra that was driving along with me when that jack ass in the benz threw a orange at my car. along with the rest of them...

I wish I can just get more gm cars out there next year so we wont be out numbered again.

My sister was driving my white stang. It kept over heating. I think it's because of a bad tune and a small radiator. It didn't help that the cars been sitting for about four months. there was all kind of rust in the water. BeeJay3100 came back and help. We limped it to JBA.

I found out when I got home on saturday, my radiator is leaking! So yeah... :( I'm thinking maybe this car is MONEY pit. I've put way too much into it :O

Sounds like you could spend some quality time at the junk yard for your car.

Lol, I didn't even know there was another 6 cyl running, it was a last minute kind of thing. I had already taken the trophy, but I gave it to the guy. He was cool though, so can't complain. Next year I'll get my revenge!!

We started out leading the group because no one else wanted to lead the "fast group". We hadn't drove the pre run, but expected the directions to be right, and had no idea the the street names had changed. So sorry for the first couple of missed turns. And we had tried to make sure everyone was with us. Not to sure if everyone knew that there were going to be a couple of different groups. Its kinda hard to keep everyone together when there are a select few that like to pass the leader. Also we did try and pull over a couple of times to make sure that everyone caught back up once we got seperated by some lights.
We did see first hand some of the crazy illegal lane changes, and were almost rear ended. But it didn't happen so, whatever. We're just glad that no one got hurt and that is the most important thing. And glad that everyone had a great time. Can't wait for next year, and to see the numbers that we might put down. Oh yeah and we'll step aside and let someone else lead :)
