Wheel hop is axle rap... the pinion angle of the diff is what can fix that... thats normally what the control ams do if you buy ajustables. and somtimes the regular ones do to. I reall like the steeda lower control arms... with a 1/2 drive ratchet you can raise or lower the car 2 inchs, nice stance for cruising and raise it for the track and slicks
Yep, Andy is correct... it is the axle binding up as it tries to twist itself into the pavement. The hop is actually the axle housing snapping back into the place it is supposed to be. Pinion angle does have everything to do with that.
ya thats the expansive stuff......only the best for my baby i guess...you can get a whole set of upper and lowers, none ajustable for like 200 i think...
i dont think i would want to go with something that cheap. what is a good company in the middle range of pricing? are bbk's good, cause they have and upper and lower kit for like 300.
any upper and lower control arm kit will work, they are all basiclly the same... its all in what you want from them, I only showed you the Steda once cause thats what i will run if I dont do a Full air ride technology suspension....
air ride....nice. how well does that work compared to just springs and shocks. i know my springs have airbags inside of them, but i think that is different
thats to stiffin the suspension for drag racing....thats cool but the air ride is just a bag and you can set your spring rate on all four corners, I really like ajustablity so this is the best kit for me. I can drop the car on its nuts when im cruising and the raise it up and rake it for the slicks! Best of both worlds! it comes with tubed control arms and pan hard bar. the front just replaces the strut in the front. the hole kit is like 4 grand... But to me well worth it. I mean they haave a 5.0 running a 1.2 on the G pad!
no shit...i would love that. drag racing is fun, and my car came set up for it, but eventually i would like to change to a suspension for track racing. thats probably a long way away tho
