O.K. Imma ask dis chit 1 more time! Is the 10lb pulley on yet??????????? Or do you have to take it back again for another retune with the new pulley?

Was the car detonating? If it wasn't what is the sense of the infamous "conservative tune"?

You need to go back and read everything again.. He said no the 10lb pulley is not on...

With his conservative tune he is making more power...

Ummmm, no he is not making more power. I don't give a rats ass whos dyno it is, it's less power and why the F can't this guy tune a car in one day with all the mods on the damn car?! Now it takes 3 F-ing weeks of adding one mod at a time before you can get your car tuned???? Lame as hell I'm out. PEACE.

Pretty sure I understand everything Eric is saying. There is a decent difference between each type of dyno.


Orange...the piping on a boosted system is notorious for blowing apart under boost. When I procharged my 02GT I made it 10 miles before my piping blew apart, overheated and blew black smoke out the rear end due to it. The piping needs to be hella tight with good clamps and not the cheap ones that come with most kits. Eric is running a Vortech but my Procharger had a crappy lip for my Anderson power pipe and it came off all the time.

Finding the rite recipe of mods for our cars isnt exact and we do the best we can with what we know and the money we have. Hell, a brand new car willl even dyno more or less than another exact make and mod. Def no reason to get angry or upset or result to any sort of bashing. Some people might need guidence but def not unconstructive criticism.

Eric, keep playing with it and get some track time and see how the times come out. Research your setup on some bigger forums and maybe you will find better mods to enhance your current set up. As far as the boost on a stock 02GT motor 8psi is the standards and 10 is best case senerio with a killer tune. Anything above that and you are def playing with fire. Every car is different but there is a law of average. Happy modding!-Shane

On the intake thing........I thought that the upper intake blew off! (didn't know if it was a plastic peace of ****).... Not intake tubing.

No dyno queens? This same kid gave me **** because my car made 330hp on the dyno and now I can't give him a taste of his own medicine? WEAK SAUCE!! Cry me a river my hearts pumping piss for ya pal!

Don't think that I bashed anyone, I just want to know why you can't tune a car with all of the mods on anymore?? Why do you have to slowly add mods and take multiple visits to get tuned????? BS!


All I know is that if the car does not out perform previous times at the track somebody is going to be pissed and out of excuses. After all it's a "conservative tune" LOL!!

alright i got some more tweaking to do, dante is going to tweak my tune and we are gonna throw the 10# pulley on tomorrow and make a racing tune. The reason for the lower numbers is because he cant get an accurate reading of the IAT sensor, the injector is closer to the T/B and so what dante is going to do is put a IAT sensor on the manifold so he can get accuracy down.

It's all good man, i wasn't offended or upset at all. I'm still getting to know you guys and who acts how about who etc etc. Will be alot easier once I get there and get to go to some meet and greets. -Shane

Pretty sure he is 7's before this. Best I ever got out of my 02GT was 7.5 with a huge stereo in the trunk, stock suspension full weight car. Was also an auto but had 4.10 gears with a built tranny and 2800 stall. -Shane

Um...nope. 8.2 was his best.

Well dante set me up today with my 10# pulley tune, we found that the car wasn't making good power because the IAT sensor wasn't sensing the air temp right, this was due to the the meth injector installed in front of the iat sensor, so we did a couple of experiments and hooked a IAT sensor in to the manifold and WALA! the temps were about 70 to 80 degrees cooler and the ecu alowed the engine to run more timing. So after a bunch of runs the car was set up with 347 RWHP and 342 RWTQ , that was after the car had a few runs, on one of the runs it made as much as 353 rwhp, that was due to the supercharger being cooler, we did prove that the meth was very effective, the superchager was spitting out 170* temps with out the meth and the meth would knock the temp to about 100 to 115*, the pulley, meth, and new tune gave me close to 50 Hp to the wheels this time compared to my first tune with RET. I have to do a couple of things to set the system up a bit better but over all im extremly happy!!!! :rock:

Kick ass man. 50 rwhp is a lot harder to get than most people think. I cant wait to see how she runs for ya!!!!!!!!
