We should run our trucks together some time. I'm NOT calling you out, just something we might wanna try..........ONCE! LOL

That truck is fun..... it is such a sleeper. I warn everyone but. Every track I take it too, it gets a reputation.

The truth is, the truck is a lot easier to drive then my cars. Once you learn to get it off the line, it is slam dunk. It runs consistent every time. I ran a 8.994, 9.03, 9.05, 9.06, 9.11, 9.32 (foot slipped off gas). And my 60fts were always at about 2.05. All with M&S Tires on it. Drag radials and some traction bars and I will be in the 8.50 area.

To be honest, racing it is not nearly as much fun as my cars. It's quiet, I play music, watch tv as I cruise down the track.....lol

Well, thanks again everyone for the comments here. I will be out at Barona a lot more often.

Just fair warning.... this is the slowest thing in the garage. The GT500 is getting control arms and anti hop brackets, along with drag radials. Then I am going to see how it does. Waiting in the garage is the pulley and tune which will bump the hp to around 640.

The 98 Cobra is my baby. This car goes to the grave with me. It is getting a new motor and lots more boost on the Kenne Bell. It has a full road track suspension, but will soon be used on the drag strip. It is also getting a new clutch and transmission. The shop is getting it this week to start the motor swap. Then engine gets built. So it is going to be most likely mid March before I see it back on the road again. To start, it is only going to be about 700hp.

I don't feel like an outsider anymore, meeting people in person helps, whereas forums can be taken the wrong way.

LOL....yeah he was saying he was going to call me mid track on our last race! But I'm the one with automatic. I most likely would have just texted him a picture of him in my rearview mirror behind me while we were racing...Haha!:D

HEY! I ain't that old. I am the guy who parks his GT500 in a crappy old house and garage. I have priorities, it just depends on what is most important....just ask the wife.... I can't help it if the pool is green and dam grass is a foot high in the back yard.... I stopped watering it months ago....It's not my fault it keeps growing!!
