on the same note, please dont assume you do what most of us do. spend a few months on a det small enough to see across, catch mortars, car bombs, ieds, and suicide bombers and then go on a go navy kick. listent to the troops. marines ON THE GROUND say we should stay. im not knocking the navy, but just because your on the ground doesnt make you the same as the people on the ground. thats like me saying aviation and infantry is the same.

And just some food for thought.... not sure whether it was on Jay Leno or where but there was someone going around and asking African Americans about why they were choosing Obama, and the stating a McCain statment as if it were Obama's and asking them if they agreed with it, which in turn they stated "Yes". I have beenn on the block 4 times to goto Iraq......Have yet to go but probably will. I never said I wont do it, or that I didnt want to. I would have been working with Task Force Troy. In their Anti IED squads.......Yep saving those same Marines and such so they do not die. I would not have even been attatched to the Navy there....would have been with the 3rd ID if I remember correctly. I am still on the block for the next E7 IA to come across the desk. As was said above, there are all services over there doing the job. Yes it is mainly the Marines and Army but the other services are supplying alot of people. Remember the Navy guys have increased deployments also with this war. So yes different version but still there. Now with that said.

I did not say we were dishonoring the guys that died over there........

I said that when they label the war a MISTAKE that they will in all essence dishonor the lives that have been lost over there. I would never say anything negative about any of the guys that have gone over there and fought for their country. NEVER...

We are all on the same side. I just want Obama to give us a reason to vote for him next time..............

It is not on the forum, it is in one thread. If it spreads from there then yes, it needs to go.

Look, the Democrats have always leaned to the Green side. So if Congress and the President decide to tax you more for driving a V8 then from your statemnet you have no right to complain about it on here.

All I am saying is let it go in one thread, no offense, if you don't like it don't open the thread any more.

I am Retired Navy, I leave the arguing of who does what in a War to the people now serving. I had the same arguments with various Branches of the military while I was in. It is taken with a grain of salt and laughed about the next day.

One faction of the Navy that people overlook are the SEABEES, I spent 3 years with them setting up their COMMS in the field.

I never meant for it to be an argument of who does what, but I was trying to say that there is a difference between those kicking in doors and those who are not.
