Just a friendly reminder, that Barona is having T/T this Saturday Mar 7. If I go, this will be my last T/T until Nov.

O ok how does that work? like do they just let u make a few passes or what?

Its the same as the Q. They just designate several lanes for people that just want to run their cars. They have 9 lanes at Barona. Each lane are designated for something, but they usually have at least 4 lanes just for T/T.

It is very different from the Q. It is a certified NHRA track. Once you run at Barona, you don't want to run at the Q. That is how I feel about it.

Last chance to get some practice hits in before the PSCA race, too... I'll be there if I can turn some wrenches this afternoon and get what I need to do done in time. Otherwise, I'll have to be under the car on Saturday instead of in it.

Yeah....the "Q" is on the ropes. They have the car show coming on Aril 3rd. And in true "Q" fashion, it is expensive to enter your car. Thats what happens when a University Professor who doesn't even like cars tries to run a race track using cultural experimental data to resolve a proceived public safety problem....i.e. street racing. Running a race event is better handled by people who understand it has to make money through marketing and competing with other events. There is a reason public funded entities fail to ever become self suficient.

I am considering going to Barona... Not sure yet. I need to get my need for speed fix.

Are you using slicks or radials. If so, then you will be able to hook at the Q about as well as Barona. Keep in mind that Barona's Density Altitude (DA) comes into play. DA is a combination of altitude, temp, humidity and dew point. In the winter with the temp around 65, Barona's DA will be around 2200'. DA affects N/A cars more than FI cars. If your car is N/A and you ran a 9.0 at 78 and the DA was 2200' the corrected time would be 8.796 at 80.3
