bad news, some of you may know

ive been sitting on it. but i know now that at least beejay knows so here it is. im selling the mustang. about a month ago me and my wife started having problems. mostly my fault. anyhow i have been trying to get her back for the last month and its just not working. she is totally cold to me. i just bought a 2002 r1, hoping to fill the void but i wont lie, its done nothing. she hated that car. she always said i was wasting my money and she was right. if i gave her half the attention i gave that damn thing i would be better off today. its been a real tough couple of weeks. seriously, ive eaten once a day and slept like 4-5 hours a night for almost a month now, its getting unhealthy. anyhow the car jsut doesnt do anything for me anymore. i will be upfront. pay off for the car and the blower is 11k. i will include everything i have, sct, slicks, etc. it will also have a fresh paintjob cause it just got keyed last weekend. dont try to talk me out of it, i could light a match to this damn thing for all i care anymore. my life has literally fallen apart at the seams and just getting out of bed has become a chore. i need to rid myself of the constant reminders. this is one of them. im trying to get out of our apartment, but its complicated with the lease. try splitting up with your wife, sleeping in the same bed, in the same house, driving the same car, living the same routine, without her. i can honestly say that i dont know if i will get back up this time. so i want rid of all this stuff. so the pony is going up first, i will give dibs to scs and ws members, i also got some tools, well a lot of tools, and eventually some other stuff i will be selling. pm me if your interested, it could be a while im not on here much anymore. thanks gents.

Seriously though, when ONE of the two wants out, there really isn't anything the other can do about it. After all is said and done, after all the pleading, begging, promises, attempts at changing (whether accomplished or failed) after all the discussions, counseling, intervention by friends and family...after ALL THAT, if one still wants out, it's gonna happen and there isn't much the other can do.

Is it gonna hurt? Hell yeah it's gonna hurt. But the best thing you can do now is PREPARE for it. Prepare financially, physically, psychologically, emotionally, however you can. Realize that after all was tried, you can't change things. And if you know in your heart you gave it your best shot, EVERY TIME to make things right, then you at least have a clean conscience and can move on.

I don't mean this to sound like the old "get over it and get on with your life" speech cuz saying that is cheesy, idiotic and doesn't help a bit. Just get ready for the inevitable. Barring divine intervention, the split will happen and you need to be on your feet when it does. Whatever you do, do NOT let depression get ahold of you. It will drag you down to the pits of hell where Chevy owners live.

I'm the old fart here. That doesn't make me a wise old sage, but it does mean I've experienced what you're going through. Twice! Hang in there Mav, you have tons of friends here and no one is going to let you go through this alone. But that doesn't mean we'll hold your hand, either. LOL

im not even ready for marriage yet but this is heartbreaking... i can see myself already spending too much time under the hood of my stang and not enough with the wife if i ever get married.. im sorry to hear whats going on with you but im going to pray for you two too. im not sure the wife would want you to lose or give up your stang just for her.. i dont know.. if she is leaving anyways and as GT400 said, you cant stop her really, then you might regret not having anything to show after all this works itself out one way or another.. but if it really dampens your mood and you cant look at it anymore without thinking about your wife.. the good times or bad.. memories in general.. then it might actually do you good to let the pony go.
dont get depressed and dont stay down. keep fighting the good fight of stayin sane while this whole situation seems insane. seems like a new chapter is about to start in your life.. try to look at that as a welcomed challenge bro. take care~

Sorry about your situation... I recently came closer than I ever want to come to the "D" word myself. Its not fun at all. I feel your pain for sure. Just try to deal with things as best you can. Just remeber life goes on... And you will eventually find a way to cope and move on. Try to keep your head up.

well man its ****ty. and i appreciate it fellas. she was always awesome to me, then i did some dumb ****. i didnt cheat on her but i had a less than faithful moment, being a guy i didnt realize the severity of it till she had her stuff packed. i look at the car and i have a lot of guilt. like if i paid that much attention to her i wouldve been able to stop it. so i just want to get rid of it. besides, my r1 is a million times faster, that thing feels like a ford taurus now.lol.
