Buying Some Headers

Ceramic coating everything can help like Orange said but for the money I'm not sure if its worth it unless you want your engine compartment to look pretty.

Ethan, if you decide to get the ceramic coated headers, make certain you break them in properly. There is a heat up and cool down cycle that the headers should go through to preserve the coating.

Your problem wasn't the headers. It was the piece of s h i t mid-pipe that you bought. :) The dent was there because that was someones sorry attempt to get the x-pipe to seal.

Ethan,
BBK is a good quality header, 02 don't forget he has a real mustang that uses real headers, not a gay 4.6 :reddy:

I have always used BBK on all of my cars and the quality is great as well as the fit. In my opinion mac headers and h-pipes suck and like 02 said things are cheap for a reason. I do like their cat-backs though. Just listen to CWO's car! The Mac headers do not have a flange that ties all of the tubes together and they warp and then leak. Just my .10 cents

:pepsi:
i remember 1 thing though.... i saw your dyno, i still make more power muhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Ok, so which one is best for performance, X or H?

X gets better flow and H better Torque, right? So for drag racing which one is more beneficial?

For what I have on mine, I was thinking that the X-pipe would be a lot better than an H-pipe.

Are you searching for torque or horsepower?
