okay...so for gears....you car doesnt launch well, okay, but i bet it has no balls above 40mph. gears will help this. and your launch will be about the same, just your gears shorter. and you will stay higher in your powerband with gears. and ofcourse you want better tires, but thats not going to ensure that you hook up. its hard. my recomendations for simple mods to get a big increase in speed would be intake and full exhaust and gears. that will help immensely. then there is pullys and throttle bodys, mafs and injectors fuel pumps, valve train, if you want to go the nitrous route that will give big gains, but it all depends on how much money you want to spend and how much gain you want. if you got 800 bucks and want instant speed. take machmans word and spray. but i recomend doind all the other little things to increase the efficiency of your engine

Thats bashing my answer.... a bigger tire is only going to brake the car faster....what im saying is that launching at a higher RPM isn't going to do anything but brake the car... so thats really going to slow you down... you get a tire luanch what ever rpm you want and post when you car is broke and it worthless..... you can hook becuase ethier you cant drive.....or you have gears all ready... you have to remember your car is making 300 ft lbs stock....plenty of torque for stock suspension and tire....

MORE POWER isnt always better....you should know that if you have had a 7 sec. car!

i got a fogger set up from one of my other cars i can use. well, im assuming i can; just drill and tap some holes in the intake runners?

more power is always better...drag racing is always about getting more power, then bullet proofing the stuff that brakes...then when you cant brake anything anymore, its time for more power...and the cycle continues. but whatever you say. lets just drop the discussion.

well, i agree with more power, but you have to be able to handle the power (you and your car). you can have 1000hp but on stock suspension and drive line and you drive like shit you will run slower than...well, me...lol, or break something before you leave the line,. and by intake i mean a cold air intake....bbk, k&n, something that replaces the stock air box. lets go ahead and end this discussion because people are getting mad, but just do the little things to help your car breath better and run more efficiently.
