8lbs of boost is good for about 80hp. and throw in a few more for the headers and coils....then take off some for the driveline....who knows, i could be way off. just my .02

I have the perfect answer.........Not enough........Why????????? Because it is never enough! I will guess and say 350/350 on a good street tune with regular gas and 380 ish with a drag tune and race fuel.

greg at ret says to see 400rwhp on a safe tune you need 10lbs. another reason why when mine made 400 on 9lbs he decided to tune it down. 8lbs wont make 400. im gonna say 330-350 because its a non intercooled kit and is 8lbs. even though the guy that installed i heard is pretty amazing.

well bad news. put the chip in and the car runs great. it was leaking a little oil from the return fitting on the blower so i checked it out. i turned the elbow and it was tight, the sleeve going in was a little loose. so i pulled out the head unit and checked it, with almost no effort at all the sleeve sheered off. so the fitting for the oil return sheared in the unit. i couldnt believe it. i think it may have had a stress crake cause i put them in to with a general tq of 50-75 inlbs. which is hardly any torque at all. fortunately i did what any self respecting airframes mechanic would do and we metal set it back in. its setting up now eric should have it tomorrow. again man, real sorry but expect the unexpected on big jobs i guess. so tomorrow around 10 or 11 we will throw it back in and he should be on his way to get it tuned. it runs good though even with the generic ret tune in it. if i had to guess i would say its around 330rwhp. its kind of nice to have some kind of boost curve, you punch it and its like 2, 4, 6, then 8lbs. the kb is like idle at 0lbs, tap the gas 9lbs, hit 5k rpms and its like 10.25lbs. so its a minor setback but fortunately i had some stuff handy to save the day. we thought about e-z outing it but i dont want to risk shavings in the head unit. just really ****s man. im gonna be honest i think the way the vortech kits are assembled is just stupid. to do anything to it you need to pull it out and the parts and fittings are cheap. sorry if someone has one but thing is driving me crazy. but it should be operational again tomorrow morning. eric couldve had it today but im not giving his car back any less than perfect. again sorry for the delay eric but you will be happy when you get it.

well mike to say the least i appreciate all of the work regarless of delays. But im sure it will be all buttoned by tomorrow morning. BTW from the other mustangs exactly mine but have less supporting mods they made in the ballpark of 360 to 380 so... maybe you guys should do some research like i did.
I'm guess 380 HP.

checked it this morning, i can pick up the head unit from the fitting that was sheared. i think we are back in business. eric not to be a naysayer but mine makes 380 with a 9lb intercooled kit. im gonna say 330-340, which is still a lot of fun. if it makes more great if not who cares? it doesnt mean you cant make it faster. your gonna like it though. dont sweat it.

Well see what she'll do today on the dyno. That's good, did you blow through the fitting to make sure it was open? IM sure it will work. I cant wait to see what it's going today when i get on it.

well its gonna need the 90mm maf on it. i can already feel that your stock maf is having trouble supporting it. i would call greg if you havent gotten a rubber boot to fit that maf yet.
